Steve Yandle

Steve Yandle brings organization, clarity, and efficiency to the Greater Glory Worship Arts team. He graduated from the US Naval Academy and served onboard the USS Eisenhower (CVN-69) in engineering and nuclear reactor management positions. After leaving the NAVY, Steve worked as a regulatory staff manager in the fine paper and vitamin manufacturing industries. In his retirement, Steve teaches math, serves in leadership positions at his local church, and is on the board for the USNA Alumni Wilmington Chapter.

Steve’s earliest involvement with GGWA was as a supportive grandpa coming to watch his grandsons share their talents and skills at a GGWA Night Of Worship. He then gradually worked his way into GGWA leadership as an assistant or leader for various breakout sessions across several years. He realized that his special talents for providing staff-level support fit in well with overseeing the front desk/admin activities and helping all the GGWA leaders and LITs. He now serves as one of the first adult faces that parents see each day when they bring their kids to the sign-in desk. Steve lives in Wilmington, with his loving wife Peggy, and serves as a full-time grandpa to his nine grandchildren.
